We will not coach the hop out of your hands
If the cluster wanders because the strike wanders, a new loft will not save you. We will say that out loud, write “motion” on the sheet, and stop selling heads.
What a walk is
Change the object, keep the cluster
A hop-and-walk session assumes you can present the same face three times. We change loft, face, ball, sometimes length. We do not change your grip story. When the cluster tightens and the walk shortens, we are done.
What a lesson is
Change the motion, ignore our tape
If the first hop is a random number every swing, you need a teacher, not a tick. There are rooms on Broadway and south toward the interstate that do that work. We will name two if you ask. We will not fake a lesson on our mat because the hour is already paid.
A hybrid that crawls only in prairie wind is usually a walk problem. A hybrid that hops four different heights in four swings is a lesson problem. Boe will tell you which animal you brought. If you came for a lesson anyway, save the ticket and book a teacher. The tape does not grade your finish.
